Welcome to my art thread all my art will be up here in the spoilers and when I add something I will add it here as well as post it in this section(assuming it won't make me double post)

Here is a Link to my Deviant Art Account where most of my art can be found.

There is a lot more art in here then I thought I would post and some of them are wallpaper sized cause I liked making myself wallpapers to use.

    Pony Art:

    Non-Pony Art:

(This goes under non-pony art, but because this forum opens all nested spoilers I had to separate it to get it to work)

May I ask what methods you use to create your work? It's very interesting. I'd also be interested in seeing more pony related art work =P. Try your hand at a Rarity in your own interpretation? :D ♥

First and foremost I collect several pieces of reference, at least 2-3 of the character I plan on drawing and a couple poses for reference so I can figure out which would work the best with that character.

Currently I sketch the characters out in Photoshop to get a general idea of pose and most of the details, recently I have been using layers to separate out details from the character so when I erase it won't erase the character and I have started sketching some of the other objects that a character is interacting with.

Then I take that sketch and go into Flash and I use the line tool to do my line art through that and bending the lines as I go to closly match the sketch, at this point I tend to play around with some things that I don't think look quite right. Such as with the two characters on The Brony Duo picture had entirely different snouts in the sketch then they do now.

Then, once I get the line art finished and how I want it to look, I pick the colors I need for the outlines and main color and fill everything in and change the outlines to their respective colors. If I do shading I simply draw in lines for where the change in colors will be and change where I want it to be shaded to a darker color.

Once I get everything how I want it to look I turn it into a symbol so I can work on it separately from any other art I might be working on. I then add a layer on top and on bottom so I can shift some of the character to the front and to the back because the line tool will sometimes cause things to look weird and moving things in front or behind will fix that problem.

I have only recently started doing actual backgrounds. For that I try to find a picture that has something similar to what I want and then I just wing it doing all the work in Flash.

I have been flip floping between two different ways to finish my drawings. One is where I set it all up in flash and export it as a png then I just re-size it in Photoshop and I am finished. The other way is I export each character as a separate image with transparency and then work on building it all in Photoshop.

As to more pony art, that is on the way I only just started drawing all of that pony art in maybe the span of 2 weeks and I still have a wealth of ideas for more pony art, most of it coming from ideas of characters I want to ponify. All of that non-pony art ranges from the last 5 or 6 years worth of random inspiration and I kinda surprised myself when I decided to put up a lot more of my non-pony art then I had originally intended.(What can I say everypony here makes me want to share more of who I am)

Rarity in my own interpretation hmm...I will have to think about that one, not entirely sure where to start heh.
