What being a Moderator means to you: The Administrator and Moderators here are to help make your experiencing much more enjoyable. They're here to enforce the rules, provide help to any who need it, take suggestions, and keep the forums a place we can all enjoy. Moderators/Admins are not here to make things harder on you. If you have any questions, suggestions, discuss moderation decisions, or just just want to talk, you can do so with personal messages.
The Rules
What not to do:
Avatars
Avatars are restricted to 200x200px and 64kb. If your avatar exceeds 64kb you can upload it to a website like Imgur and link via an off-site avatar. This will allow you to ignore the 64kb limit on avatars. Avatars can be animated, but if they are flashy then your avatar will be removed due to issues with epilepsy. Here is an example Avatar:
Signatures
Signatures are restricted to 150px high (INCLUDING TEXT). If you exceed this amount, you will be asked to re-size your signature. Failure to comply, ignoring it, or declining this will result in a warning. Below is an example signature:
Reporting
If you see any post which is contrary to the above rules, use the report feature located below each post. Even if you're not 100% sure it's breaking a rule, still feel free to report it, as there are no consequences for trying. Please do not alert the offender that you've reported them. It only makes threads worse and doesn't help us in any way. If there is a thread with multiple bad posts you want to report, just report one of them, and note in the comment that the entire thread needs moderation. This way only one moderator ends up dealing with each thread and our report queue isn't spammed. Don't respond to flaming and trolls, especially to flame them back. Just report them, and move on.

- Spam, single-images, "TL;DR", one word responses, double/triple posts, advertising services (This includes YouTube subscription requests), bumps (your own threads or others), etc.
- Trolling and Flaming
- Stalking, Sexual harassment of any kind, or generally making someone feel threatened or unsafe.
- Hate speech: Including slurs, derogatory statements, hate support, posting to offend ANY social group; including age, race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality or sexuality.
- Ban Lists: Lists of people who were banned for any reason.
- Posting illegal content such as child Pornography, illegal documents, Personal information, etc.
- Plagiarism (Must link to original artist/writer if you are posting content outside of your own)
- Posting "Clickies" such as Dragon Eggs, "Award x Person y Number of Internets", etc.

Posting Etiquette
- When Posting images that are sensitive (Graphic, Grimdark, Extreme Violence, Heavy Shipping (Licking, suggestive themes, etc), please use Spoilers with appropriate tags. For instance, if you're posting a Grimdark picture, make sure you name your spoiler so that people can read it and know what it is.
- Be considerate. Keep Off-Topic discussion in the Off-Topic Forum.
- Do not criticize people for acting "in Character".
- Respect all Moderators, Admins and everypony else! If you wouldn't say it to your mother, don't say it here. And if you would say it to your mother, don't say it here anyway!
